Dawn Bruce-Tagoe was born and raised in Manhattan, NY and is a devoted wife and mother of 4.

Dawn started attending Christian Life Center (CLC) in 1989 while pursuing her college degree. She immediately started volunteering in the Children’s Ministry alongside her (now) husband as a Teacher’s Assistant. She was quickly recognized and promoted to become the Children’s Ministry Administrator overseeing operations and volunteers.

Dawn graduated with a degree in Information Management Systems in 1990 from CUNY York College, Jamaica, NY. After College, Dawn joined the staff at New Life Christian Bookstore, Jamaica, NY.

After a brief encounter with Pastor AR Bernard in the bookstore, Dawn was led to join the Full-Time staff at Christian Life Center in 1993 as the Member Relations Manager. Dawn still resides as the, (now called) Guest Services Supervisor overseeing 25 paid and volunteer staff in roles such as Phone Operator, Data Entry Operator and Front Desk Service Representatives. Through her leadership, Guest Services has continually and successfully maintained its mission: To build relationships by, serving the community, one guest at a time.

Dawn also, serving in a duel role, works as the Database Administrator at Christian Cultural Center (CCC). In this capacity, she maintains the organization’s data input, focusing on its accuracy, consistency, and redundancy and she is responsible for the systems output in reporting and statistics. She has often served as a liaison with database management vendors to help facilitate successful installation of new databases and she continues to help CCC Users streamline their policies, procedures, and processes for efficiency. Dawn has always been well known as the in-house systems trainer.

Currently, Dawn also serves as the Treasurer of the CCCLI Good News Orator Toastmasters Club.
