ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
The New School of Biblical Theology (NSBT) is committed to your success as a student.
NSBT is a master’s level institution that offers its curricula in an online format. At this level, it is essential that each student take responsibility for her or his learning. At the master’s level, NSBT wants to help you not only learn the curriculum of your enrolled program, but to provide you the opportunity to become a life-long learner. We like to say that, “we will not teach you everything you need to know,” but “we will teach you how to learn everything you need to know.” Educational excellence is not only about gaining the contents of a certain degree program, but is an open door of opportunity to enter the arena of learning for yourself, for others in your ministerial care, but also to show yourself approved to the One who has called you to follow Him in ministry.
Pointers for Academic Success: Explore study and research resources at the Digital Theological Library (DTL); use the Academic and course calendars to plan ahead; be sure to contact your instructor concerning any issues or questions you might have regarding assignments; and be sure to notify your professor immediately if you have issues completing your assignments in a timely fashion.
